Chin up

A punch can only be thrown hard as long as your body knows that it can safely stop your arm from moving.  How can you ensure that you can stop a devastatingly fast punch?  Grow a strong back.  The #1 exercise for a unbelievably strong upper back is the chinup.

  • Begin by grabbing a chin up bar with an underhand or overhand grip
  • Hang from the bar so you arms are fully extended

  • Pull your chin up until it is over the bar
  • Slowly return to the hanging position
